· Updated 22 Oct 2026

CBC Liquors in Westford carries Lautus non-alcoholic wine: a red, a Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay. You can see the whole Lautus lineup on our brand page, then pick it up in the shop, order pickup or ask about delivery.

Which Lautus non-alcoholic wines do we carry?

Three bottles are on our shelves for this search. LAUTUS Na Savvy Red is the red. LAUTUS Na Sauvignon Blanc and LAUTUS Na Chardonnay are the two whites.

The "Na" in each name stands for non-alcoholic. These are made to give you the look and ritual of a glass of wine at the table without the alcohol.

The full set is gathered on the Lautus brand page, where our own best sellers from the brand come first and what is in stock today is shown.

What does non-alcoholic wine actually mean?

In general, non-alcoholic wine starts as real wine. The wine is made in the usual way, then the alcohol is taken out, often by gentle heating under vacuum or similar methods, so that much of the grape character stays behind.

That is different from grape juice. Juice is never fermented, so it tends to taste sweeter and simpler. A dealcoholized wine usually tastes drier and has more of the structure people expect from a wine, though it will not be identical to the alcoholic version.

Labels in the US can describe a product as non-alcoholic when it has under 0.5 percent alcohol by volume. If you need a product with absolutely none, check the label on the bottle before you buy.

What does each style taste like?

Without claiming anything about this particular producer's tasting notes, here is what to expect from each style in general.

Sauvignon Blanc is usually crisp and zesty, with citrus and green notes. If you like that profile, it is the one to try first. You can browse the wider range of Sauvignon Blanc in our alcoholic wine section to see the style you are after.

Chardonnay can run from lean and bright to rounder and softer, depending on how it is made. The Chardonnay category shows how wide that spread is.

The red is the hardest style to make without alcohol, since reds lean on tannin and body. Serving it a little cool, around cellar temperature, tends to keep it from tasting flat.

How should you serve it?

Treat it like wine. Chill the whites in the refrigerator for a couple of hours and pour them into proper wine glasses, which makes a real difference to the aroma.

The red can go in the fridge for about 20 to 30 minutes before serving. Once opened, recap the bottle and keep it cold, and plan to finish it within a few days, since the flavor fades without alcohol acting as a preservative.

For something different, a splash of any of the whites over ice with a little sparkling water makes a light spritz. You can find sparkling water and more in our mixers section.

When is it a good bottle to have on hand?

Hosting is the obvious case. If you are putting together a dinner or a party, a bottle of non-alcoholic wine means guests who are driving, not drinking, or simply skipping alcohol tonight still have something nice to pour alongside everyone else.

It also suits people who want a glass with dinner on a weeknight without the alcohol. Our party planner is a handy place to think through what a gathering needs, and non-alcoholic bottles belong on that list next to everything else.

It makes a thoughtful thing to bring to someone who does not drink, too.

What food goes well with it?

Pair by style, the same as you would with regular wine. Sauvignon Blanc works with salads, goat cheese, fish, and anything with fresh herbs or lemon.

Chardonnay suits roast chicken, creamy pasta, corn and richer seafood like scallops or lobster.

The red is a fit for burgers, tomato-based pasta, mushrooms and hard cheeses. Bolder dishes can overpower a lighter non-alcoholic red, so keep the seasoning moderate.
