Absolut vodka in Westford: flavors and how to buy

· Updated 22 Oct 2026

Absolut is a Swedish vodka, and CBC Liquors at 142 Littleton Rd in Westford carries it in several flavors, from the original Blue to Citron, Vanilla, Raspberri, Lime and Tabasco. You can see the full run on our Absolut brand page, then pick up in store or ask about delivery or shipping.

What is Absolut vodka?

Absolut is a vodka made in Sweden. It comes from the town of Åhus in the south of the country and is distilled from winter wheat. The bottle is easy to spot on a shelf: a clear apothecary-style shape with a blue label on the original.

Vodka in general is a neutral spirit, which means it is distilled to be clean and light in flavor rather than to taste of its grain. That is why it works in so many drinks. Absolut Blue is the original, unflavored bottle, and it is the one most bartenders and home cooks reach for when a recipe just says vodka.

The flavored bottles in the Absolut line start from the same spirit and add a single flavor, such as lemon, vanilla, raspberry or lime. You can browse every Absolut bottle we carry on the Absolut brand page.

Which Absolut flavors does CBC Liquors carry?

We carry a range of Absolut bottles at the shop on Littleton Rd. The original is Absolut Blue Vodka, the one to choose if you want a clean base for a martini, a vodka soda or a cocktail with several other ingredients.

For citrus, there is Absolut Citron Vodka, a lemon-flavored vodka, and Absolut Lime Vodka. Both suit tall, simple drinks built with soda water or tonic. If you prefer something softer and sweeter on the nose, Absolut Vanilla Vodka and Absolut Raspberri are the two to look at.

Then there is Absolut Tabasco, a peppery, savory vodka made with a pepper flavor. It is a very different bottle from the rest, and it has one obvious job: a Bloody Mary.

Which Absolut bottle suits which drink?

Start with what you are making. If a recipe lists vodka with no flavor, Absolut Blue is the straightforward answer. It will not push a flavor into the drink, so the juice, soda or vermouth around it stays in front.

If you are making a vodka and soda with a squeeze of fruit, Citron or Lime gives the drink a head start. A little lemon or lime vodka plus the real fruit tastes brighter than plain vodka with a wedge alone. Raspberri works the same way with soda water and a squeeze of lemon, or with lemonade for a longer drink.

Vanilla is the one people often overlook outside dessert drinks. It pairs well with cola, with ginger beer and with coffee-based cocktails. If you are not sure, tell us what you plan to mix and we can point you to the bottle that fits.

What should you mix with Absolut vodka?

Most of what makes a good vodka drink is the other half of the glass. Plain soda water, tonic, ginger beer, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice and lemonade all work with the original. You can find the bottles and cans to go with it in our mixers section, so one trip covers the spirit and what goes in with it.

For a Bloody Mary, pour Absolut Tabasco over ice, add tomato juice, a splash of lemon and a little black pepper, then garnish with celery. The pepper in the vodka does some of the seasoning for you, so taste before adding extra hot sauce.

For a lighter drink, fill a tall glass with ice, add a measure of Citron or Lime, top with soda water and finish with a fresh wedge. It takes under a minute and it is easy to scale for a few guests. If you are planning a larger gathering, the party planner is a good place to start.

How should you serve and store vodka?

Vodka does not need to be aged, and an unopened bottle keeps well in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sun and heat. Once opened, keep the cap tight. Flavored vodkas are best used within a reasonable time after opening, since the flavor is the point and it can fade.

Some people keep vodka in the freezer. It will not freeze solid at normal freezer temperatures, and the chill thickens the texture a little, which many people like for sipping neat or for a martini. If you are using a flavored bottle in a mixed drink, a bottle kept in the refrigerator is fine too.

For a martini, stir Absolut Blue with ice and a splash of dry vermouth, strain it into a chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist or olive. Pour sensibly, and never drink and drive.
