Description
SHACKSBURY's Vermonter cider is a celebration of Vermont's distinctive terroir, capturing the essence of the region's apple orchards in every sip. This cider features a harmonious balance between tart and sweet notes, characteristic of the ripe apples sourced from Vermont. With an ABV of 6.0%, Vermonter offers a crisp, refreshing profile that is both approachable and invigorating, making it an enticing choice for cider enthusiasts looking to experience the true taste of local craftsmanship. Ideal for pairing with a variety of dishes, Vermonter complements the flavors of aged cheddar, charcuterie, and roasted poultry beautifully. Its balanced acidity and subtle sweetness also make it an excellent companion for a dessert course, particularly alongside apple pie or a creamy cheesecake. The cider's versatility ensures it enhances the dining experience, whether paired with savory or sweet. To fully appreciate Vermonter's crisp character, serve it chilled at around 45°F. This temperature brings out its nuanced flavors without muting its refreshing qualities. For optimal enjoyment, pour this cider into a tulip glass, which helps concentrate the aromatic bouquet and allows for a fuller appreciation of its flavor profile. With its roots deeply embedded in Vermont's rich cider-making tradition, Vermonter by SHACKSBURY offers a genuine taste of New England's orchard bounty.

Usually get Downeast but tried Shacksbury Vermonter for a change. Bit more tart, and actually liked that difference.
-
Had this at my sister's housewarming. Good stuff but wish it came in a bigger bottle, went quick with everyone sharing.
-
Super smooth, went down fast on a warm night. Not too sweet like some others I've tried.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad the Vermonter hit the spot for you. If you ever want something drier, look for their Arlo next time.
