True North Scale Breaker

Scale Breaker, a distinguished offering from True North, hails from Massachusetts and embodies the dynamic allure of a specialty pumpkin beer. At 6.5% ABV and balancing 45 IBUs, this brew captures attention with its artful interplay of hops and malts. True North has crafted a beer that speaks to the heart of autumn, where the subtle sweetness of pumpkin mingles with a robust malt backbone, creating a seasonal profile that resonates with depth and warmth. Expect a symphony of flavors where earthy pumpkin notes weave seamlessly with a hint of spice, typical of beers in this category. The moderate bitterness from the hops provides a crisp counterpoint, ensuring each sip is both refreshing and full-bodied. This beer's complex character makes it an engaging companion for a variety of dishes. It pairs beautifully with roasted turkey, enhancing the savory richness of the meat, while also complementing the sweetness of caramelized root vegetables or a creamy pumpkin risotto. To fully appreciate Scale Breaker's nuanced flavors, serve it slightly chilled, ideally between 45-50°F. This temperature allows the beer's aromatic qualities to unfold, inviting the drinker to savor its full bouquet. The preferred glassware for this specialty beer is a tulip glass, which captures the aroma while allowing for a pleasing visual of its rich amber hue and frothy head. Whether you're revisiting seasonal traditions or exploring new culinary pairings, Scale Breaker provides a unique taste experience. Its balance of malt and hops, combined with signature pumpkin notes, delivers a beer that is both versatile and memorable, making it a standout choice for those who appreciate the art of brewing.
