Dirigible Pennyfarthing

Pennyfarthing by DIRIGIBLE is a distinctive specialty beer hailing from the vibrant brewing scene of California. Crafted with precision, this beer offers a harmonious interplay of malt and hops, creating a taste profile that is both approachable and intriguing. With an ABV of 5.8% and an IBU of 40, Pennyfarthing strikes a satisfying balance between a mild bitterness and a smooth, malty undertone—qualities that make it a noteworthy choice for those seeking something beyond the ordinary. The malt backbone provides a subtle sweetness that perfectly complements the moderate hop bitterness, resulting in a beer that is neither overly bitter nor too sweet. This balance makes Pennyfarthing versatile enough to be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of foods. Consider matching it with grilled meats, where the beer's malt character can enhance the savory notes, or with spicy dishes, where its crispness can provide a refreshing counterpoint. For the ideal tasting experience, serve Pennyfarthing slightly chilled, ideally between 45-50°F, to allow its flavors to fully develop. A tulip glass is recommended to best appreciate its aromatic qualities and to let the head retain its structure, enhancing each sip. Whether you're exploring new craft creations or savoring a familiar favorite, Pennyfarthing presents a well-crafted option that exemplifies the innovative spirit of Californian brewing.
