Wachusett Brewing Octoberfest Lager

Wachusett Brewing's Octoberfest Lager is a quintessential Märzen-style beer that captures the spirit of autumn with every pour. Crafted in the heart of Massachusetts, this seasonal specialty brings the classic essence of German festbiers to life with an approachable 5.3% ABV. Its amber hue hints at the rich malty character within, delivering a blend of subtle sweetness and a smooth, balanced finish that is perfect for enjoying as the leaves begin to fall. This lager's moderate bitterness, with an IBU of 20, complements its malt-forward profile, offering a taste experience that is both satisfying and refreshing. Expect notes typical of Märzen-style lagers, with a toasted malt backbone and hints of caramel that evoke the warmth and festivity of Oktoberfest celebrations. It's an ideal companion for hearty dishes; think roasted pork, grilled sausages, or a robust pretzel with tangy mustard, making it a versatile choice for autumnal feasts. For optimal enjoyment, serve this lager chilled between 45-50°F, which allows its full range of flavors to shine without masking its delicate nuances. A traditional dimpled beer stein or a classic pint glass is recommended to showcase its rich color and to maintain its frothy head, enhancing the overall sensory experience. Whether marking the transition into cooler weather or simply savoring a well-made beer, Wachusett Brewing's Octoberfest Lager offers a taste of tradition with every sip.
