Description
Loretta is a saison from Oxbow Brewing in Maine, a light, easy-drinking farmhouse ale at 4% ABV. It follows the rustic tradition of Belgian-style beers with a touch of modern American character. Expect earthy and spicy notes, a gentle fruitiness from fermentation and a smooth, round mouthfeel, with no hop bitterness getting in the way of the malt. It pairs with roasted chicken, seafood or a charcuterie board. You can find Oxbow Loretta at CBC Liquors in Westford, in store or through pickup, delivery or shipping.
Customer reviews
Twelve pack was gone way too fast at the backyard BBQ. Goes down easy for sure, just wish it came in bigger bottles.
Was expecting more flavor, pretty thin and light. Smooth enough but kind of forgettable compared to other farmhouse beers.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Farmhouse ales can be subtle for sure. If you want something with a little more bite next time, try the Oxbow Farmhouse Pale. - Tom
