Finback Festbier

Finback Festbier is a tribute to the time-honored traditions of Oktoberfest, crafted with precision and passion by Finback Brewery in New York. This lager is a nod to the classic German-style festbiers, bringing a taste of Bavaria to American shores. With an ABV of 5.8%, it strikes a satisfying balance between malt richness and a subtle bitterness, creating a harmonious and approachable profile that invites you to savor the moment. In the glass, Finback Festbier showcases a vibrant amber hue, topped with a frothy white head. Expect malty aromas with soft notes of toasted bread and a whisper of caramel, typical of this style. On the palate, the malt character takes center stage, offering a gentle sweetness that's perfectly balanced by a mild hop bitterness. This creates a smooth, clean finish that's both refreshing and flavorful, making it an excellent choice for celebrating the spirit of Oktoberfest. To fully appreciate the nuances of Finback Festbier, serve it at a chilled temperature of around 45°F. This allows the malt and hop flavors to shine through without being overpowered by the cold. The ideal glassware for this beer is a traditional dimpled mug or a stein, which not only holds a generous pour but also adds to the authentic Oktoberfest experience. When it comes to food pairings, Finback Festbier is a versatile companion to a variety of dishes. Try it alongside classic German fare such as bratwurst, pretzels, or schnitzel for a traditional pairing. Its maltiness also complements the savory richness of roasted meats, while the crisp finish can cut through heavier dishes like pork or sausage platters. Whether you're enjoying a feast or a simple snack, this festbier is crafted to bring people together in celebration and good cheer.
