E Nine Carice is a Belgian-style ale from the heart of Washington, crafted by the innovative brewers at Engine House 9. This particular brew stands out with its infusion of red currants, which lend a lively tartness and a vivid hue to the ale. With an ABV of 6.5% and a mild bitterness at 25 IBU, this beer strikes a harmonious balance between the classic complexity of Belgian ales and a refreshing fruity twist. The red currants in E Nine Carice not only add a striking visual appeal but also contribute a subtle tang that complements the underlying malty sweetness typical of Belgian ales. Its nuanced profile pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, making it a versatile choice for food pairings. Try it alongside roasted poultry, tangy goat cheese, or even a fresh berry tart to complement and contrast the beer's fruity notes. Whether you're a fan of traditional Belgian ales or on the lookout for a new flavor adventure, E Nine Carice provides a refreshing change of pace with its innovative use of red currants. It's an ideal choice for those who appreciate the artistry of craft brewing and the vibrant flavors of the Pacific Northwest.
