Other Half Double Citra Daydream

From the creative minds at Other Half Brewing in New York, Double Citra Daydream offers a captivating exploration of the New England IPA style. This beer stands out with its bold 8.5% ABV and the rich, silky mouthfeel typical of an imperial oat cream IPA. The use of oats and lactose provides a lush, creamy texture that balances beautifully with the vibrant citrus notes derived from the Citra hops. Expect a bouquet and palate brimming with bright orange and grapefruit, layered with subtle hints of tropical fruit. Serving Double Citra Daydream at its optimal temperature—between 45 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit—allows the complex flavors to fully emerge without overwhelming the senses. The creaminess of the brew complements a variety of dishes, making it a versatile partner for food pairings. Try it alongside spicy Asian cuisine, where its citrus notes can temper the heat, or pair it with creamy cheeses like brie to enhance its smooth texture. Its robust character makes it a delightful choice for those who appreciate a beer that balances richness with a hoppy zest.
