Chateau Ste Michelle Domaine Brut

Domaine Brut by Chateau Ste Michelle is a captivating sparkling wine that hails from the lush vineyards of Washington State. This wine is crafted to impress with its elegant effervescence and a tantalizing array of fruit-forward flavors. Expect a symphony of crisp apple and juicy pear, woven together with hints of citrus that dance across the palate. The wine's bright acidity provides a refreshing counterpoint to its lively fruit character, culminating in a clean, invigorating finish. Versatile enough to complement a range of dishes, Domaine Brut is a delightful companion to seafood platters, particularly oysters and crab cakes, where its effervescence cuts through the richness. It also pairs beautifully with soft cheeses, such as Brie or Camembert, allowing the flavors to meld harmoniously. For the adventurous palate, try it alongside spicy Asian cuisine, where its crisp nature can counterbalance bold flavors. For optimal enjoyment, serve Domaine Brut well-chilled, ideally between 45-50°F, in a traditional flute or tulip glass to capture and enhance the finesse of its bubbles. While this sparkling wine is delightful upon opening, a brief decanting period of 15-20 minutes can help to fully express its nuanced aromas and flavors. This wine is crafted for immediate enjoyment but can also develop additional character with short-term cellaring.
