Lamplighter Daydream Believer

Lamplighter's Daydream Believer, an Imperial IPA hailing from Massachusetts, embodies the quintessential characteristics of a New England-style IPA. This brew greets the eye with its signature hazy appearance, a visual prelude to the explosion of tropical and citrus notes that follow. At 6.3% ABV and with an IBU of 40, it strikes a harmonious balance between robust hop character and a surprisingly smooth, soft mouthfeel. This beer invites you into a landscape where juicy flavors of ripe mango and zesty grapefruit dance on the palate, creating a complexity that remains approachable. To fully appreciate the nuanced flavors of Daydream Believer, serve it chilled to around 45°F. Such a temperature allows the vibrant hop aromas to lift while maintaining the beer's natural balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Pour it into a tulip glass, which will concentrate the aromas, enhancing your tasting experience with each sip. The glass’s shape also supports the retention of the beer's luscious foam, a testament to its masterful brewing. Pair Daydream Believer with foods that complement its fruity and citrus profile. Grilled fish or citrus-marinated chicken will echo the beer's bright flavors, while a tangy goat cheese offers a delightful contrast to its hoppy depth. For a more casual setting, try it alongside a spicy Thai curry or a classic margherita pizza, where the beer’s bitterness can cut through richness and its tropical notes can refresh the palate. In Daydream Believer, Lamplighter not only delivers a beer but a vibrant exploration of hop-forward ingenuity. Whether you're a seasoned IPA enthusiast or venturing into the world of craft beers, this offering stands as a testament to the creative spirit thriving in the heart of Massachusetts.
