Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt is a distinctive whiskey hailing from the renowned Speyside region of Scotland. Crafted by blending three carefully selected single malts, this Scotch delivers a harmonious and smooth character that stands out in the world of blended malts. Expect a well-rounded profile where the gentle touch of vanilla mingles with subtle spice, offering hints of fresh fruit that add a layer of intrigue to every sip. This whiskey's versatile nature makes it a delightful choice for both the purist and the cocktail enthusiast. Served neat, it reveals its true depth, allowing the intricate flavors to unfold naturally as it warms in your hand. A splash of water can also be added to open up the bouquet and enhance the aromatic complexity without losing its core essence. Monkey Shoulder shines brightly in classic cocktails. Its balanced flavor and smooth texture make it an ideal base for a robust Old Fashioned or a perfectly balanced Manhattan. For a refreshing option, pair it with ginger ale in a highball glass to create a lively and invigorating drink. Regardless of your choice, this blended malt will elevate your cocktail with its distinctive charm. For nosing and savoring its aromatic subtleties, a Glencairn glass is recommended, while a solid rocks glass serves well for leisurely sipping and cocktails.
