Common questions

Do you carry Illegal mezcal?

Yes, we carry Illegal Joven Mezcal and Illegal Reposado Mezcal at CBC Liquors on Littleton Rd in Westford. You can see both on this page.

What is the difference between joven and reposado mezcal?

Joven mezcal is bottled young, with little or no aging, so it keeps the clean, direct character of the agave and the smoke from roasting. Reposado is rested in wood for a period, usually between two months and a year, which tends to soften it and add some oak notes. Both are commonly sipped neat or used in cocktails.
